Balding man decides to get fringe tattoo and weeps at result

A balding man who wanted to cover his thinning hairline, without spending

A balding man who wanted to cover his thinning hairline, without spending thousands on a hair transplant, was left crying at the results of getting a fringe tattoo instead. Gianluca, 26, from Italy, visited tattoo artist, Maria Gina Altobelli, in Fondi, Italy, to get an inking on his forehead to help provide a solution to his baldness.

He persuaded the tattoo artist to agree to his idea of tattooing fake hair onto his head, but after looking in the mirror at the results, he was left speechless, with his head held in his hands.

Ms Altobelli, 30, who owns Gipsy.g Tattoo & Piercing said: "Obviously, I was sceptical when he asked me for that tattoo, but in the end, I’m very happy with the work."

It took the tattoo artist, who has been practising her craft for six years, one hour to create the design. Ms Altobelli uploaded the video on TkTok and it instantly went viral. In the video, the tattoo artist can be seen using a stencil to add the black fringe onto the customer's head. After inking the design and putting the final touches on the tattoo, Gianluca then looks at himself in the mirror and then cries.

Social media viewers have been left feeling concerned for Gianluca, with some laughing about the unusual solution to the common problem of hair loss. Commenting on the video, one social media user said: "She should have let him see how the stencil looked on his head before making it permanent." Another TikTok user said: "The instant regret when he looked in the mirror." Meanwhile, the tattoo parlour owner said: "I didn't expect all this virality of the video." The tattoo fringe creation has been watched almost 28 million times, with comments posted from all around the world.
